    C2 1967 Radio Restoration

I am having problems with my radio. Had it working on bench, but does not work in car. Since I am redoing entire new interior, I am thinking of having the radio restored. Mid-America did it 36 years ago, but I am wondering who you might suggest?

The car will never be judged, but it is my baby.

    Thank you in advance!

    Ted

        I use Greg at S & M Electro-Tech in Blaine, MN. http://www.turnswitch.com/

He has done several radios, clocks, gauges and power window motors for me. He completely restored the entire top motors, wiring, relays, switches, sensor system on my '57 Ford Skyliner retractable hardtop ..... and that says a lot about one's patience and expertise.

          Jim,

Thank you very much! I will check him out tomorrow! The motor for my 66 Catalina top is getting tired.

          God bless!

I second Greg at S & M Electro-Tec. Did my '67 radio last year, top notch service. You won't find a more knowlegable nicer guy! Get it to him soon as he gets very busy this time of year.

I'll second Bob at Precision. He has done all my radio work for the last 20 years.

Precision Stereo Repair in Utica, NY 315-797-5219. He did 2 C2 radios for me. For $150.00 he rebuilds them. He can also put in blue tooth and and auxiliary port for extra $. He advertises in the Driveline.

I'm also in need of having my radio and clock restored . . .
Has anybody used D & M Restoration (Greenville South Carolina) to have their clock and radio restored?
They advertise in our Driveline also and looking for any feedback on their services.

I just spoke to Greg at S & M @ Electro-Tech. He isn't taking any new jobs in right now. He is far behind and catching up before taking new jobs in.

That's an indication of a guy that does great work. Jerry Rudbeck was the same way until he finally had to say "No more, I'm retired".
