1966-67 A/C tubing going through / over radiator support - black or natural?

I know this was asked about earlier yeared cars, but they have the drier inside the radiator support instead of outside like the 66s and on. Is the aluminum tubing at the ends of the hoses that connect to the drier and condenser painted black or left natural? 66 JG says "all" tubing is natural, which I can see at the evaporator housing and compressor, but for these at the radiator support, black seems it could be correct. Mine had a lot of black paint on them, but a lot of the area under the hood on my car was spray bombed black by a previous owner. Another recent thread shows that those two tubes might have been painted black.

Just seeing what other 66 and 67 owners have?

Jeremy, I have also been following the posta about the 65 condenser lines. I was curious so I took the attached photo on my unrestored 1967 L79 with A/C. It appears that the lines and dryer are painted black with the exception of the brass fitting on the condenser.
    I hope this is helpful.

I need to make a correction from my previous post. The orange-colored fitting in the photo which I thought was brass is actually a steel fitting. It has very minor surface rust giving it an orange color. When tested with a magnet it confirmed the material is steel. I cannot tell if it ever had black paint.
