Looking for information on the 3832518 front coil spring for a 1967 L71 car. Is the 550 lb/inch rate and 12.25 free length correct? What is the wire size and the number of coils? Who is a good source for this spring?

Gary-----
As far as I know, the 550 in/lb rate is correct. I measure the free length of NOS examples of the springs at 12" but it's possible it's 12-1/4". Measuring these springs is a little "imprecise".
The wire size is 11/16" and, by my count, 7 coils. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
