Did any 66 come with the chevy "bow tie" on the door mirror? I see "bow tie" and no "bow tie" mirrors in the catalogs that i am looking at.

Exterior mirror

The exterior rear view mirror is chrome plated casting with a recessed Chevrolet "bowtie" on the forward side. The "bowtie" inscription is uniform in depth forming sharp points at the ends and at each corner. [E-18] Mirrors were manufactured by either Donnelly Mirror Inc. (DMI) or Ajax (AX). All mirror glass is dated and should be confirmed as appropriate for the car’s production date. Consider date codes preceding the date of car manufacture within six months as acceptable.

If you don't already own a copy, I highly recommend buying the new edition of the '66 TIM&JG. It is money well spent. It typically answers more than 90% of questions I find myself asking about my '66 project.

The non-bow tie mirror started showing up in late '67 production. My June '67 has no bow tie on the back of the mirror.
