Dash Light Bulb question 1967 Corvette

IMG_4891 (3).jpgIMG_4890 (3).jpgSo last year, I had my dash restored and when it was put back in the light bulbs where not put in correctly. So as I am putting in a new interior, I am working on the dash too. I bought 5 different books and colored diagrams. I have it all done, but I have one bulb I have no idea where it goes. It has a shield on it and a 1445 and the bulb chart says that bulb is for ignition, cigarette lighter, instrument panel clock or radio light. The radio is out and has 1 light in it. The clock appears to have the correct lights in it.

So my question is where do you thing it could go?

Ted, That bulb and holder (once it is put into a gray wire socket) hooks into the cigarette lighter. The tangs hook into the housing. Don H.

It is a gray wire, but the shield does not hook on anything and all gray holes are filled up.

Ted, If you examine the housing that the cigarette lighter screws into there are slots that the housing snaps into - see picture. Good luck, Don H.
PS This is a '65, I assume '67 is the same.

Great information.... I have a question about ignition switch ... is there a bulb for this ? A pic would help also

Enzo, Here is the ignition switch light installed, the book calls for a 1445 bulb. Good luck, Don H.

Thank you very much. I found a gray wire that was cut off before I got the car over 36 years ago. This must be where it goes.
