    Is this a Harrison Radiator?

I'm cleaning out old parts, and I wanted to sell my old 1966 radiator that I removed 40+ years ago when I installed a BB radiator to help with cooling. The '66 was a 327 car with Air Conditioning and automatic. (It still ran hot after changing the radiator.) I got the radiator out of the bar loft, and I can't find a Harrison tag. I do see some numbers stamped on top of the radiator, but that's all I see.

Where is the Harrison tag that's supposed to be soldered to the radiator? I bought that car when it was only about 12 years old, and I doubt that the radiator was replaced; it case it was replaced, I don't want to go to the trouble of selling it.

Part number is on the top plate of the radiator. Also a date code: if original it would be 65X or 66x, where x= alpha character for the month. Example: 66C would be March of 1966

I agree. I've never seen an original without the part number on the top. Sometimes it's stamped directly into the top plate and sometimes it's on a separate plate welded to the top plate. All 1966 Corvettes with small block originally used Harrison aluminum radiator GM #3155316.

By the way, if the radiator is copper-brass or has side tanks then you can be absolutely certain it's not an original radiator.

I have a new computer that won't yet me upload pictures. When my wife gets home, I'll take some pics with her camera.

Next question: What is it worth?

              Basically scrap metal value.

Someone with a 66 Bowtie car might want it and buy it, but with the DeWitt reproduction radiators being so damn good, most folks will buy new.

These old aluminum radiators can't be cleaned very well or repaired reliability. The metal has oxidized and/or corroded to the point that heat capacity is likely way down.

I would offer it for free or for a small price, and put it in the Driveline in case someone really wants it.

next to nothing. aluminum stack plate radiators can not be repaired. and Dewitts makes a 100% correct one that works

Well, Heck! I was hoping it would be worth big money. Would 12 years of use degrade the radiator's cooling capacity that much?

I might be going a little bit wacky from quarantine, but, wouldn't a car with A/C and A/T have a copper/brass radiator without tags?

Yes, all C2 small blocks were originally equipped with the aluminum GM #3155316 radiator regardless of transmission, with/without A/C, or any other option. No exceptions that I am aware of. Things changed for 1968 and later, though.
