Hello All:
Sorry if this question has been answered before, but a quick search of the archives did not yield an answer.
It's my impression that early versions of the 3770245 high performance small block water pump pulley were made from two pieces welded together, but at some point GM revised it to a 1-piece construction. For the 2-piece design, the welded joint is clearly visible on the front of the pulley, so it's a very obvious difference from the 1-piece design.
I'm interested to know when the transition to the 1-piece design took place. In particular, which style is correct for a 1967 L79?
