I was doing some detailing on my 67 this weekend and had the bucket seats out. While doing some exploration on the passenger side drive line tunnel in the seat belt bolt area and I found this tag/sticker on the back side of the carpet. My car is serial 16350 built around April 17, 1967.

Re: Original 1967 Corvette carpet tag picture
I have one from my 68. Same format, different part number of course. Mine is black too. I tried to upload a photo but it didn’t work. It was probably too big. The original carpet is still in my car. I took the label off to preserve it. It’s not in as good shape as yours, but still legible.
Thanks for posting that picture.

Carpet tags from a base motor California car in the 18,6xx range. 4 speed, tele column, headrest, speed minder, vinyl hardtop, per tank sticker.
