I remember both that HOT ROD cover (I was a little older than High School) and Denny's presentation in Boston. His talk was one of the best sessions at any National Convention I have been to.

I was at Boston. If I remember correctly his presentation went on for over three hours and basically everyone in the room stayed for the complete presentation. I have a tape of that presentationDick Whittington- Top

Re: Denny Davis passed away March 12, at age 89
I was the EVENT DIRECTOR on the NCRS BOD and produced that convention with DAN GALE who was Chairman of the New England Chapter. Dr. DICK THOMPSON was our special guest. He brought DENNY DAVIS and Doc. BLATCHLEY along. What a seminar we had. It continued into the lunch hour in the bar - restaurant .ZORA was there for the week, and he hot-rodded his GOLF KART every day and raced it every day up and down the hill to the show field . SUPER FUN CONVENTIONOver 80 Corvettes of fun ! Love Rochester Fuel Injection 57-65 cars. Love CORVETTE RACE CARS

I also have saved a copy of the Hot Rod Magazine from Dec 1967 showing the photo of Duntov and the various engines that were developed at the time. Would definitely would have been an honor to know Mr Davis. RIP.
