Ausco Dec '69 floor jack 9 M 13th month

I have a AUSCO jack all looks proper dated 9M just like the Judging Guide #6 page 58 photo Fig 1 14.48

unless I am counting wrong , isn't M the 13th month? YES, I realize 69 production was well over a year long-

but M? Was a Sept or Oct 1968 built 69 model jack stamp 8A or 9A or what ?

Thanks just curious, I would have thought it was a bogus stamp if there wasn't a photo in the JG

9M = 1969, December on you jack.
On stamped dates the letter "I" was not usually used so M = December.
On cast date the letter "I" was used so L = December
