    1967 390hp Carb Rebuild

    Good Morning,

I am looking to send off my carb for a rebuild. Could I get some recommendations? Want it restored to original for future judging, plated if needed, want it tested, adjusted and ready to bolt on.

Not only looks great... Performs better than the new Holley 3810-0 I bought and later sold on eBay.

Because it's the most beautiful C2 color. Though sadly, for me, the judges don't agree mine is close enough.

I have sent about 25 carbs to Eric Jackson. His work is outstanding. I recently bought a survivor carb from Tom Zeman of Ghhost Performance (yes spelled wrong) and it was fantastic. As most on the forum, I've also had very good results with Phil from Custom but that work has been via clients and never direct.

Haha, I Had John Ballard in my garage about a year ago and I like you have one that is not close enough according to him. He even pulled out his original paint chips from GM that he keeps well protected from light and handling.

Original 67 MM had a brownish tint to it and really wasn't that pretty when new. My first Corvette was a 67 BB Marlboro Maroon, so I remember this color very well. My current 67 with MM was repainted with R-M factory pak lacquer back in the late 1970's and clear coated, and has a more reddish tint. Everyone that sees the car remarks on how well it looks...........but it will not judge well in NCRS events.
