    1969 Mystery Bolt Hole

Can someone tell me what is supposed to be mounted at the bolt hole location shown in the photo? It's in the frame near the differential mounting bracket. Due to the rust pattern, it's apparent that the bolt did hold some sort of bracket at one time. Over the last several months I removed many items in the rear (bagged and labeled along the way), but don't remember anything here.

The bolt threads are 5/16 x 18. The bolt has to be short because of the limited clearance to the mounting bracket. L36 with four speed if that means anything.

    Thanks,
    Mike

And you're correct Russ. After your clue I found the bolt and clip - bagged and labeled. :-)
      Thank you sir.

Yes, it's for the rear cross-over brake line clip.
