    C3 spare tire carrier bolts

    Can anyone tell me what the original finish was on these spare tire carrier bolts? Nickel plate maybe? I think they appear too bright for zinc plate.

      Zinc plated. The plating was a typical-for-the-period "dull silverish". Later SERVICE examples were much shinier zinc.
