1963 Air Cleaner Base Spark Arrestor?

When I bought my 63 in 89 it had a spark arrestor on the air cleaner base.
I read the later 63's had 64 carbs-would it also have the air cleaner base for a spark arrestor?

Leslie, I would be interested to know this my self, Does your 63 air cleaner housing have a 64 style base? is your VIN in the 121xxx range? Snap a photo with the top lid removed, Myself I have not seen a 63 with a 64 base housing. which would have the breather tube coming off the rear of engine, quite different.

Hi Ed, sorry for the late reply new to this site and couldnt log back in (my fault). I will try and get a pick of my air cleaner base as soon as I can and post.
