Is there any difference between an original washer bag for a 65 Corvette BB and the reproduction cap and bag I have one from a 36,000 mile survivor car and I am curious if there is any difference in the repo.

Yes, there are differences: Primarily in the material used in the bag construction, especially the rear side of the bag.
I believe originals were a canvas type material. Reproductions are different and are all vinyl/plastic. At least the reproductions that I have seen.

Re: 65 big block washer bag
And I agree with Larry and Mike.
Donald,
Thank you for sharing these two shots of your low mileage '65 survivor washer bag. The bag I have and the archived shots I've got are nowhere near as nice as this one. So my search continues for a nice one like yours.
I avoid repro parts at all costs. There's very little I've seen that compares to the real deal. Although original washer bags are scarce online and at swap meets, it's very common to find online vendors who sell slightly used or NOS caps.
Thanks again!

Re: 65 big block washer bag
Hi Dan
Here's the "little D" on the bag off '65 L78 V VIN 23564. (leaks badly) Found it hidden under the battery tray, lying on the outboard dust/ shield.

The "D" is on my 65 AC car bag.

Re: 65 big block washer bag
Washer bag on my original lo-mile 1967 327/350 HP car with factory air also has the "D" initial on the lower corner of the washer bag. So this should be consistent identification from 1965 thru 1967. Maybe started earlier.

Here's a couple of shots of my buddy's '64 washer bag. The "D" was present then too.
