    1966 Clock

    I have started to take apart this 1966 clock and have not been able to remove the chrome knob.
    I believe that it unscrews from the shaft, clock or counter clock wise? Is that correct?
    Any suggestion would be appreciated.
    I have used a little PB Blaster.

      They are right hand threads. I have had luck with using the flat part of small vice grips to hold the shaft. If by chance anything gets a scar, replacement parts are readily available.
