It is time to start your planning for the 2020 National Convention at French Lick, IN. If you have never been to this area you will be surprised. The two historic hotels have hosted Presidents, Kings and gangsters in years gone by. Both meticulously restored in appearance but updated in conveniences. There are a lot of things to do in the area a Pete Dye golf course along with three other courses. Nearby Water Park, indoor Go-Cart track, Bowling Alley and Arcade, Spa, shopping and several restaurants to choose from in the hotels and across the street. There is also an historic train ride as well as stables right by the hotels.

At https://www.ncrs.org/convention/ you will find complete details and schedules for the upcoming convention. Registration doesn't start until February 1, but get your plan together now so you don't miss out on any of the activities.

There will be wonderful Road Tours from the four corners of the USA as well as Eastern Canada. Make this year the year you finally get to experience one of the wonderful road tours. You won't regret it and will be hooked for years to come. Just ask any of the members doing their 2nd or 10th road tour. They will tell you they wouldn't miss it for anything.

Thanks, great advice and info here John. I am hoping to be able to arrange a Reliable transporter to carry my car for judging while I enjoy the Texas Road Tour. Sounds like everything is right there, so not much travel around the area is needed. Also need to visit the famous quilt museum in Paducah, Judy is really looking forward to that, see you there!

Don't fall for the $25. WB room upgrade with "Outside View". The little letters WB means the West Baden Resort site next door. Look for the letters FL in your confirmation for rooms at French Lick Resort. I got mine changed easy enough, but lesson learned.

I agree with Ken--piece of cake when I used the dedicated link published in The Driveline. The regular hotel link would not work.

Thanks for the heads up, I fell for that scam too. Thought it was a better room at the host hotel instead of one miles away and no transport. I hope I can change mine and not get scammed.

Yes, I had to just cancel the first one and start over, but since it was all online, not a big problem. They should warn people about that West Baden place though.

There are plenty of rooms available as Harry pointed out.

Just completed a French Lick on-line hotel room reservation and rooms were available for Sunday through Thursday 5 night stay.
