1965 350hp Coupe with Air Questions about Dash cluster harness mods in AIM

Hello Everyone Merry Christmas and Happy new year!
I am installing new dash cluster and harness with harness attached to the dash.
I have noticed in the Aim for the A/C that the three wires that went to the non A/C Blower resister are to be cut off .5 inch from exiting the harness and the four wires that went to the heater control switch are to be cust off 1 inch from exiting the harness.
I do not have my original harness to look at anymore. Would someone be kind enough to post any pictures they have of this area of an original harness? I do not want to mess this up but would like for it to appear as original as possible. Not sure if the wires are to be all cut off straight across or staggered so as not to sjhort to each other and also how they are taped to the harness. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I want to do this now before I put it in the car.
    Thanks in advance!

I take it that you are referring to a 1965 coupe?

If I remember those wires are not cut, they are folded and taped.

Yes I meant Coupe and not COUP.
I thought that the pins might be ejected from the plugs and taped back but the aim shows them being cut????
