Yes, it could. The 1969 L-89 and L-88 could also have been equipped with the THM-400. Even the ZL-1 could be equipped with a THM-400 and one of the two ever built was so-equipped. The transmission used for all of these applications differed internally somewhat from that installed in other applications.

Thanks for the reply. I am looking at a 1969 427/435hp automatic. #'s match drivetrain, with documentation, tank sticker, etc... convertible with hard top, power brakes. Car is correct, needs restoring, black exterior with bright blue interior. What is the value on this car?

That I can't help with. However, I'm sure there are others here that can offer some opinions on value. I can tell you that 1969 L-71 with THM-400 is somewhat rare.

Sounds like a very interesting car, assuming all is good with docs and #s it would have to be worth well over 100K when completed. My 2 cents.

Bloomington Gold has a 1969 Corvette Coupe with that color combination in a lot of their advertising. It is, however, a manual transmission. I understand the owner of Bloomington Gold just bought the car after it was judged at his event. It is an interesting and memorable color combination.
