1966 clutch return spring

The clutch return spring was not on my "new" 66. I have purchased a new one but need to know where it attaches to the firewall. I assume there should be a bracket there for it but there is not. What is that bracket called (so I know what to look for / buy) and where does it attach to the firewall? A pic would be helpfull. I am knew to all of this.

Bracket shown on firewall of my 65. The same on your 66. Under bolt next to steering shaft.

Picture helps immensly Don. Now I just have to be strong enough to stretch the spring.
