Repairing Radio Noise suppression capacitors
Hello All,
Can anyone help me to find a restorer article that I think I remember seeing but cannot remember what issue?
It was how to restore the .5uf can type radio capacitors on the back of the instrument cluster. I was polishing the plating on a couple of mine and broke the lead off! I think the article showed how to remove the end. Put in a new smaller cap inside and reattach the lead and red cover to the can.
Any help would be appreciated. Also is there a way to get an index to the restorer articles without purchasing the DVD's. They appear to be sold out at the moment!
