    - Holiday PDF Document Giveaway -

If you kidz are good boyz and girlz, this fat elf has a scanned C2 PDF present each day this week (Monday thru Friday).
According to my quick estimations, there will be approximately 60-pages... most with OCR for text searching.

Simple Rules: DO NOT REDISTRIBUTE - DO NOT REPOST - STRICTLY FOR YOUR EYES ONLY!
If you can't play nicely, I'll turn the Corvette right around... and we won't stop for ice cream.
(NOTE: The PDF files are reduced to conform to TDB attachment requirements... sorry.)

    Singing on Monday:
On the 1st day of giveaways, Zora gave to me... some 1967 Corvette Engineering Features.

Dick, sorry for the late "entry" - someone else alerted me to this thread. Sorry to have missed the National. This is probably NOT '55 #1399, but an actual shot of Engineering #5951 ('54 with SIGNIFICANT engineering modifications), perhaps as run at the DPG.

The body from Eng #5951 was transferred to '55 #1399 (along with the same modifications to '53 #21l) for transfer to NASCAR SCORAD (BUT MINUS THE FIN AND THE BODY PAN), so I would assume that this is a "victory" picture of #5951 at the DPG.

As Russ Sanders said at a SW NCRS Sedona meet, "A marvelous time to be working at Chevrolet as an engineer for Ed Cole.".

Still had the windshield for sometime after it was transferred to Alvin Hawkins, the promoter at Bowman Gray Stadium. Somehow the windshield ended up on another Corvette in a SC salvage yard. Could not be bought for love nor money. Came into my hood in '57 and was made into a drag car with a straight front axle. After the owner passed away the mechanic decided that possession was 9/10th's of ownership. Good friend of mine bought the car for $900 I believe and replace the suspension. Right before he donated it to the Christian Broadcasting Network he had the head rest fabricated. Still had most of the belly pan attaching points
