    Fender Cover for 63 S/W

Does anyone have a recommendation for a fender cover, that will not scratch paint and tools will not slip off? It will be used on a 1963 Corvette. Thanks for you help.

My wife made some fender covers using heavy flannel material, about 4' x 5'. Work great, can fold up for even more padding. I don't place tools on the fender, poor practice "inviting" a problem.

Griots Garage. Have used their fender covers for 12 years. The best.

The NCRS cover doesn't have the creases in the correct spot for a mid year.
I purchased the silicon yoga mats and use them. They stay put.
One can cut one in half and have one for each side, although a bit short of what I prefer.
Or purchase two and cut the extra off on end and use them for in the door jams if you have to do any under dash work.
I love them and you can pick your color. 68"L x 24"W and 1/4

Exercise caution with using fender covers like these "mat" Fender Covers with any of the modern paints.

At the Detroit Regional there was a freshly paint base/clear C1. Mat fender covers were used.

When the mat fender covers were removed, there was a cross hatch pattern in the paint.

No they were not NCRS fender covers.

I have had not paint issues with mine.
Although they were not used on fresh paint. It was six months old before I pressed the covers into service.
I have left it on for a week with out issues. If you have fresh paint anything can be an issue.
Full disclosure my paint is base coat, clear coat.
                Caveat emptor.

I've heard that too.....but I've used them on my cured single stage paint without issue...
I have a couple of old terry cloth bathrobes which I prefer to anything else and they're large enough to double up on the fenders...
