Re: Those Were The Days
During the first gas shortage I did not but a 67 coupe 427/435 for $1700.00. I had been married for just a few years, a new house and the new boss said I don't think so. The car was at Malcolm Konner's in Paramus.

Re: Those Were The Days
Some of these stories will sound so stupid that it could not have been us that did it, but some might enjoy hearing them.
I had a guy offer me a Marina Blue/blue 67 435 convertible and $800.00 for the 62 red/red 340 i mentioned in the previous post. I told him no I'd have to have $1300.00 difference. The day two fools met, me that I didn't take the offer and Ron Howard a friend of mine now that actually offered it.- Top

Re: Those Were The Days
I purchased my 63 FI coupe with a big tank back in '76 for a whopping $15,000. I had to borrow $14,800 from my boss as I only had $200 to my name at the time. I still own it, best investment I ever made.- Top
