I want to have my horns rebuilt for my 66. Does anyone have a recommendation. Good work in a decent turn around period. i see a lot of advertising but I have been burnt before.

Hi Mel. I had Gary at The Horn Works rebuild ours, in our 66 coupe, a few years ago. Nice work, fair price, still work great. He advertises in the Driveline.

Are the rivets where the horn half’s are staked together, steel or aluminum, and also does the rivets have the waffle pattern on the head as the originals?

Waffle pattern is there, I'll have to check on the rivet material and get back to you

put a magnet to the rivets and appear to be steel but I would confirm with horn works

On the 67- 7th edition judging guide page 182 it does NOT SAY or state if rivets should be steel or aluminum on the Horn half's ?
