    Thanks for the link.
I have to wonder who is the manufacture?
An additional benefit of the AGM battery is it can be tipped into place without loss of any corrosive acids.
For those that haven't opened the link the Corvette classic batteries are $349.00 with free shipping.

I was unable to find a store that sold Delco batteries in the Washington D.C. area. Delco distributors here only sell batteries to car dealers, and I did not want to deal with a car dealer to get an inferior battery with a Delco label. Interstate Batteries had a 750CCA battery. I have had good experiences with Interstate batteries but I could not bear to put a green battery in the car. Finally I found a high performance Deca 750 CCA case size 24 battery for less than $150 that is black and fit the 67 battery tray fine. I removed all the labels, and if I had a Delco label to stick on it I would have the best of all worlds.

I needed to replace the AC Delco 34PG that was in my 1965 today. I went to my local battery store and was somewhat surprised to learn that the AC Deco battery's are made in Korea.
I decided to buy a Deka, manufactured in PA, and give it a try. I can't see the label when the battery is in the car anyway, so I will see how a US made Deka battery works out for me.

I don't know if all AC Delco batteries are made in Korea but the group 34 definitely is.

            Joe,
I was surprised when he told me that, but I guess I should not have been.
Hopefully the Deka will last as well as the old AC Delco did. It was a 42 month battery which I installed in May of 2013.
