    1967 Power steering pitman arm

    For a 1967 327-350hp

I'm making sure I get the correct pitman arm for my conversion:

I have searched the various parts houses and they list the same p/n 3741383 for all 1963-82.
U searched the auction site and they show the 3741383 B in the pitman arm casting but they also have a GMT 165 or a GMT 168, one even mentions it is a TRAY-D.

It was also mentioned to me that that were more than one iteration of the 3741383 and that one of the differences was the thickness.

So what is the correct pitman arm for a 1967 327-350hp power steering?
And how do you tell which is which?

    Thanks,
    Don

The GM #3741383 is the pitman arm you need. The other embossments that may be found on the arm are irrelevant with respect to any functional difference. I know nothing regarding any "thickness" variations between versions of this arm. But, even in the unlikely event that such exists, all you need to know is that you need an arm with 3741383. That will work for you. By the way, this arm was not exclusive to Corvettes. It was used on certain other Chevrolet models in the mid 50's to early 60's.
