66 Corvette AC STV valve leak

Recently recharged the original AC on my 66 Corvette and found that I am getting a Freon leak around the STV valve. I am guessing that I am getting a leak from the rubber diaphragm in the valve. Has anyone had this problem? Is the valve easy to rebuild? I see they offer a diaphragm rebuild kit. Anyone have any instructions for the rebuild? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

Gary, Sorry I can't put my hands on that invoice right now. You could call them at 813-251-2356. Good luck, Don H.

The diaphragm is simple to replace. The hard part is getting out of the car then back in. It is spring loaded. When I rebuilt mine I had in in a vice and slowly removed the screws. I cleaned it with alcohol, installed the new part and reversed the process. I used an NOS part as it comes with the metal attachment, was about $60.00

            Good luck
