How Every 2020 C8 Corvette's V-8 Came to Get a Retro "Tonawanda" Badge

Here's something the judges can look for in 25 years...

Get the story on how the small-block V-8s that power every new Corvette came to have a retro Tonawanda engine-plant label pulled straight out of the 1960s.

That's cool, glad they did that. Whenever I open the hood of my '19 ZR1 everyone is very disappointed, as all you can see is the places to fill fluids, a bolted on engine cover is over the entire engine.

I had heard this. I think it's great that Mark Reuss decided to do this. Reminiscent of the old big blocks. Like Michael said, the new motors are pretty boring looking. They will never be confused with a midyear fuelie motor or a C4 LT5. This will be a nice addition.

Also glad to see that they have finally started to HIDE THEM STUPID LOOKING COILS! At one time Chevrolet not
only took pride in the performance of the engine they had pride on how the engine looked. Glad to see some of that
is coming back. Can also see the valve covers. JMHO>> Larry
