1967 Corvette rear window date code for clear glass question

I am looking for an original clear rear window for my 1967 Coupe. I have found one however the code on the window does not match with the judging manual. It reads as follows:

Safety [LOF] Plate
AS2 VA
Solid Tempered
M53

Everything I find says it should read M51.

Need some insight.

My 1967 manual 7th edition states on page 62
M51 is for non-tinted rear glass.

Thanks for the reply. That is what I found in my 7th edition judging manual also. The person claims it is an original so I am trying to find an explanation for the M53. Thanks again. Mike

Yes, the date code is "VA" which according to the latest judging manual is December 1966. It is the M53 that I cannot find an explanation for.
