Re: My battery from Restoration Battery. Is it on its' last legs?
I have a Restoration Battery that was installed in 2011 for the Novi National. The battery is still going strong, which is surprising to me, as the one I had before this one only lasted 2 years. I think the last one was lead acid and this one in a gel battery. Restoration Battery is under new ownership, I cant remember their name, maybe someone else will help

Restoration Battery is gone. He retired when Antique Auto Battery was having problems.
One of the AAB employees bought the company and they're back at it. However, they are now Jim's Battery.
The AAB website is still running.
I would call, though, before ordering a battery.

Re: My battery from Restoration Battery. Is it on its' last legs?
In another thread, it was said that an Optima Battery is contained in the Restoration Battery shell. I'm not sure what year this started. It was suggested that the bottom of the battery be cut off, and a new Optima be installed. I'm sure a good cutter, and a bit of skill and luck is required. I'm in the same situation with my battery as the OP, and when the time comes, I'm going to give the "cutting method" a try. FWIW.- Top
