    1972 Radiator Tag

Some weeks ago I asked if anyone was reproducing Harrison Radiator Tags. I was looking for a MK9 tag for my 72 base motor with AC and has a copper radiator. While working on replacing the vibration damper, I found the original radiator tag under the radiator shroud. The tag reads MG4 which I dont see referenced in the Judging Guide. Does anyone know what applications used the MG4

    Re: 1972 Radiator Tag

    Ed,
The new 73-74 TIM&JG on page 165 has a table depicting radiator broadcast codes. It shows that the MG broadcast code was used for non air conditioned 1974 cars equipped with M20 or M21 trans. Also, if you look closely at the flat portion of the tag below the "MG" you may see part number 3030685.
