65 Vette w/AC: Power Steering Pump Filter

Need help . . . .
I'm currently rebuilding my '65s (with AC) "oem" power steering pump and cannot find and/or locate any restoration shop that has the filter for the the pump. Does anyone know if they are still available and who may have one included "rebuild" kit?

The filter consisted of two components---the filter housing and the filter element. The filter, GM #5689351, was discontinued without supercession in June, 1981. The filter element, GM #5689352, was discontinued without supercession in December, 1981. These were used only for 63-73 Corvettes, 61-64 passenger cars and most trucks of the period. The only NOS source I know of for either is a source that does not sell parts.

Your filter housing should be perfectly re-usable. The filter element will be the problem.
