    Vacuum Advance Rebuild

Does anyone rebuild Vacuum Advance cans? I have a 437 15 that doesn't work very well. I'd like it to function like a B28.

    Thanks,
    Bill Becker

I can't answer your question, but if you look at how the two halves are crimped together it would be virtually impossible IMO to disassemble it non-destructively, and finding internal parts would be a chore, especially if you want to change the spring that give VACs their individual performance characteristics.

Duke, kind of like the cranking signal valve that I rebuilt for my 63 FI. It isn't pretty but it still functions 35+ years later. Thank you Brian Futo.
      It's a good life!
