1967 heater control panel light location

Does anyone know where the heater control light wire is mounted? I have anew wire wire harness and there is a wire for the heater control panel light. Where is this mounted to? Is this also the bulb that has the green rubber sleeve over it to give a green glow???

    Yes it is.
Its clip held in place by the clock.
The illumination is only visible (to me anyways) in my grarge at night with all room lights off.

I think this photo is from John Hinckley's collection. It clips onto the lower edge(6 o'clock), and below the clock attachment housing which is part of the center dash. Note this is metal and is the ground for the lamp so scrape any paint away if needed. The clip scratches the metal so that may be sufficient. The lamp clip rounded end is where the green sleeve is attached.

Edit/Add.....IIRC, ??? , the metal housing gets its ground via the clock harness ground wire 2 prong plug(left side of photo), so the clock must be installed for the lamp to get its ground to function.

Also, if the car has C60 Air Conditioning, 2 more clips and lamps/green caps attach to the outer ends of the housing(apx 3 & 9 o'clock) to illuminate the upper AC knobs. Photo courtesy of Dave Zuberer.

The picture of the extra lamps with a/c almost looks like they are separate from the main harness. They have their own electrical power supply point and if so, is there a vendor that sells these lamp clips and harnesses without having to buy the a/c main dash harness?

Don those 2 other lamps are a separate pair of gray wires which plug into the fuse panel "ACC LAMPS" socket terminal as shown in the lower right photo above. AIM C60 E8 shows this small wire harness. Part# 2988863 "WIRE ASM - LAMP"

I did a quick search and found Lectric Limited sells the wire assembly separately.

LI Corvette also has it. Part# 43-02M

The lamp clips....my 1967 AIM C60 E8 "HOOD ASM" shows 2 different part numbers, 3960507 L and 3960508 R. Likely 2 types based on the openings in the ends where the light escapes in the proper direction. I did a quick check and only the HEATER "HOOD ASM" is available from a few vendors. I am not sure if the L & R A/C versions are available. Maybe LI Corvette?

YUP.... Just found them at LIC..... Part# 12-59C which includes all 3.
