Got a phone call today from a friend who has a friend who knows someone trying to authenticate/sell a 1968 Baldwin Motion Corvette. Although my friend hasn't seen it, it was described to him as having "funny round headlights" and is a convertible. That is all the info I have right now. Told him to get VIN and any documentation first. Don't know much about these cars, but I thought Baldwin Motion Corvettes were all coupes. I was looking at some older previous threads and it appears that the only way to authenticate Baldwin Motion Corvettes is via Joel Rosen for a high fee. Any help is appreciated.

Re: 1968 Baldwin Motion
Other than having a Baldwin Motion Chevrolet bill of sale showing the VIN and list of modifications, I think your only option is Mr. Rosen. Also, I understand he only "authenticates" cars modified at Baldwin Motion for retail sale. I could be wrong, but I don't think he counts customer's cars modified after the sale or purchased elsewhere. Since all the parts were available "over the counter" and through mail order, it would be almost impossible to make a call on appearance alone. There was one at the National this year that I think had been "certified". Chip.- Top

Re: 1968 Baldwin Motion
Thanks for the reply Paul. I will pass that info along.
Just wondering if anyone would have contact info for Mr. Rosen? I checked and he doesn't appear to be an NCRS member and can't seem to find anything in a general google search. If someone does have Mr. Rosen's info, I will pass it along and the owner can decide how far he wants to go to authenticate the car. Re: 1968 Baldwin Motion
A good start is the shipping data report from NCRS. If it does not state Baldwin Chevrolet you can probably stop there as far as a Baldwin Motion car. It could be a Motion modified car brought to them later or from another dealer by a private owner.- Top

Re: 1968 Baldwin Motion
As Tim mentioned getting the NCRS Shipping Data Report is a great start. Then reach out to Joel, joel@motionmodels.com, mrmotion@myacc.net or 800-866-3172 (954-344-8512).Adam Boca
