Re: 1967Anco Wiper Blades
According to the 6th edition of the 67 judging manual it says " In summary judges should expect to only see Trico blade holders on cars built in the 1966 calendar year. " So with that statement I would assume the answer would be no, so there would be a deduct for Anco holders and blades unless the 7th edition has change this statement. Maybe someone from the 67 team can shed some light on this subject.

Re: 1967Anco Wiper Blades
Can't you just buy a set of current Trico wipers for a 67 corvette, and take a hit for judging like you do for a Delco battery? Current Trico plant is in Brownsville, TX. and you can buy a set at Advance or O'Reilly's per their website.- Top

Re: 1967Anco Wiper Blades
John: Batteries are judged by standard deductions specifically called out by NCRS (on one of the laminated judging cards). Tires are treated that way also.
I do not think the standard deduction treatment has been applied to wipers. That leaves CDCIF (stands for Configuration, Date, Completeness, Installation and Finish) as the judging process to use.https://MichiganNCRS.org

Re: 1967Anco Wiper Blades
Danny,
Thanks for your reply. You are correct for any car after mid-January 1967. The car I am requesting help for was produced in November 1966.

Re: 1967Anco Wiper Blades
Harry,
Correct. We expect to see Trico Made in USA for Jan and later built cars. Earlier cars we expect to see just "TRICO" on the blades and they are very tough to find so the alternative is the Ancos.- Top

Re: 1967Anco Wiper Blades
Harry,
To answer your question: The Anco Blade pictured with peak design, brushed finish and two-line rubber insert was used throughout 67 Corvette production.... so the Anco blades should pass NCRS judging in both your early and late production cars. Good luck.Attached Files- Top
