SHP water pump elbow fitting markings - C, CP??
I'm changing the water pump on my 66 L79 and the elbow fitting that goes into the top of the water pump has given up the ghost so I need to get another one. Looking at a couple of vendors I see reproductions with both <P> and <CP> markings on the fitting and I was wondering which one was correct for my car. I searched here and see both mentioned, but never found if one was more correct for certain years than others, or if both were correct for all years.
