1965 Windshield & Backlite Retainer / Clip Recommendation

I'm getting close to putting in my windshield and backlite "back on" my '65s frame off restoration. . . .
Before I get started, does anybody have a recommendation on who sells the "preferred or best" windshield retainers (GM #3859045) and backlite clips GM#(4871329)? Any/all recommendations and comments are much appreciated. Thanks.

Ray,
I assume you mean the moulding retainer clips that must go in before reinstalling the windshield with rubber gasket and the rear window with urethane. There are two kinds of repro clips available, those made in China and those made in USA. The Chinese clips are harder steel and don't fit well, avoid them if you can. The USA made ones are better. However,with either you will need to open up each clip with a flat blade screwdriver to ensure the flange on the moulding will go in. This is very important if you want to avoid the "moulding sticking up to far" we see on so many restored cars. This happens when you cannot snap the moulding far enough into the clip. I prefer to reuse cleaned originals when possible. But, in the event you need a new clip set, both Long Island Corvette and Paragon have the better USA made clips. Just make sure you open them up a bit before you install them.

Thanks for the advice . . . . I've checked Paragon's website and they do sell the USA made clips. I'll place my order this morning.
