Lower Radiator Hose direction

Ok I've searched this and a lot of people say put the lower radiator hose on in the right direction because it can go both ways, but they don't mention which way is the right way.

Hose looks like this with an arrow pointing in a direction, but is that towards the radiator or away from the radiator?

The VAST majority of MOLDED radiator hoses (such as the one pictured) will only properly install in the direction they were designed for. The "wrong way" is usually quite obvious on trial-and-error. In any event, it's even easier with the hose pictured; no trial-and-error is necessary. The radiator end of the hose is the end which the arrow points to.

Most things carrying fluid with an arrow for direction mean, direction of fluid flow and I agree with Joe, could not fit without hitting something spinning if flipped end for end, especially with the spring metal inside.
