I can't answer your question but would ask why. Unless you are going to drive it daily (which I did do many years ago with a generator), my experience has been a well maintained generator works fine for the use these cars get now. Just my opinion, Don H.

I ran my 61 with the stock generator for 10 years with a 750 Watt radio amp and halogen headlights so I also question why folks do this....part of what need changed is the dash gauge in a C1 will have to go to a voltmeter as alternators can easily push over 100 amps if demand calls for it.
This is how one pal did it on his '62 using a 70s era Delco 10SI with internal regulation:

For some C1s the tachometer becomes an issue if its driven off the generator....

Why not just use an aftermarket one wire alternator? I believe his pulley will work and the alternator will just mount up. Then again I have been known to be wrong

Go to MadElectical.com for reasons to not use a one wire alternator. Many good wiring articles at this website. I was turned on to this person by John Hickley and he was a savior when I rewired my 62 to include alternator.

Forgot to add on a one wire, you do not need more than 50 amps. Unless you upgrade the battery wire, you can toast your harness with more
