Problem with Dual Air on C5

I have tried to adjust my Driver side dual air control to allow the temp to be 70 degrees. The passenger side will yield cold (60ish) air but the driver side is around 80 degree air. Has anyone had trouble with their C5 dual air system ?

Gene there are mode motors that open and close the temp. doors for each side. if you sit in car with the key on engine off and change the temp for cold to hot, you should hear the electric motors run for each side. it will have to be quiet to hear them work. GM does have issues at times with the internal motor gears stripping out.

Edward, I followed your directions and did not hear the motor switch from cold to hot. How big of a job is it to replace ?

If low of Freon the right side heat up first and the lower the Freon gets then the left side will stop cooling

Carl, Thanks for the hint. I pulled each AC fuse one at a time. I then reseated each one. After driving the car, I have noticed that the driver's side AC control acts like it should.

Go to U-Tube and watch the video from C&S Corvette from Tampa, FL.?? Very interesting as they explain the problem and what the fix is on a C5.

Thanks Joe Ray. I watched the Utube clip. I hope my little problem has been resolved when I pulled each AC fuse individually a few days ago. I drove my car this past Saturday to a club event and probably put 100 miles on the car. I had cool air on each side.
