There were some AL wieghts on ebay earlier. they had grams as well as oz on the weight so they would not be original 60's period weights, however they would work.

A few years back I did an article for the Restorer on the weights for aluminum wheels (midyear). If you have trouble finding it let me know.

Mark, what edition or year of the Restorer was your article in?

This message was forwarded to my email, as subscribed. I'm attaching a picture of the beat up, dragged through the mud, inferior prototype batch....My busy life, has not allowed the time for me to return to this project.....I truly wish I could, there is a small market for these weights.....As shown, it's not as easy as one might think to work lead and make the forms to repop wheel weights...I do have now all the molds (Micro all sizes) the "AL" only one ounce size. If there's any use for the ones pictured please reach out to me....To all, I have had too many email requests for weights, these messages seem to always go to my spam folder, which until recently I began looking there, my apologies to anyone that went unanswered.....

Thanks for the reply. I intend to take a different route than attempting to cast them from scratch. What I need is a correct weight to ensure that I duplicate them correctly.

So I have the same problem. I need weights for my knock-offs for judging, and I know I'll never find enough NOS weights to accomplish this.

If I install the orginal type of weights at the outer rim edge that have the ounces only weight designation, will this get me any originality points or is it just better to install the stick on weights and take more or less the same point deduction for the weights. Not sure what that deduct would be, I don't have a judging sheet handy to look at.
