    '66 L79 Mystery Part

Just drained the coolant from the engine block drain plugs and radiator. I removed the spark plug boomerang ignition shields and the starter shield to access the drain plugs. I noticed a small part on the garage floor under the passenger side of the engine. Does it look familiar to anyone?

This looks like the socket mounts for a bar that holds a 3/8s socket drive set

Genius! I recently acquired a 1/4" 6 point Mac socket set that came on an organizer with an extra clip. It must have slid off. I'm very excited that I don't have spare parts. Thanks!
