    1970 Corvette LT1/ZR1 Judging change

Been racking my brain trying to figure out how my grills are wrong!!! Found this in an old Judging Manual, I've had this car for 30 or so years. The new JM doesn't have this??? What happened? Sure would make my life easier

See the bottom half of the attached page.

We have pictures and red lines indicating where the screws are - or are not - located.
They're even larger in size than the diagram you posted.

So, I'm not sure how you think we missed this?

It turns out, upon further review, that number is not valid and was corrected in later versions of the JM.

The latest version of the 1970-72 TIM&JG is the 6th Edition.
You will find the page Patrick attached as a PDF in the 5th Edition as Page 57.
The same illustrations are Page 72 in the 6th Edition.

So if I understand correctly ALL 70's were single screw? I have had my car since around 1987 and am the first to restore the car around 1990 but the car was apart when I got it. I will keep on the hunt for the 70 style grille. thanks RDR
