    Did you mean David Sokolowski?
He only has 54 ads in the Driveline.

David did me a big favor recently, so I can at least pay him back by providing you with his number. 310-329-5334.

        Re: Contact

Funniest tongue-in-cheek I've seen on the TDB in years.

It seems like the bazillion ads for this guy with the redundant phone, email and membership info in every ad makes up 20% of the copy of every DL printed. I used to browse the DL for amusement even though I've never been in the hunt for parts, cars, or services. After a couple of years now, the way this one guy's prolific advertising is presented has soured my perception of the DL to the point I don't even open it any longer. It goes straight in the trash.

          Re: Contact

I get the tenor of the other posts, but Ken asked a simple question that has/had a simple answer. He deserved a civil response and not a bunch of other unrelated comments. Bash David if you have to on another thread, but I think you may find that many people have used him for parts and found that he is mostly fair with his pricing and responds to phone messages fairly quickly. I know of no vendor who everyone likes and you can't blame him for using the classified section rules established by those in control to his advantage. He is just playing by the rules. Some guys think by posting "call me" with no additional information is enough. At least there is no question what he has to offer and he is willing to check dates, etc. unlike some others. My 2 cents.

            Re: Contact

Gary: I think there is "more" to Ken's post than needing David's phone number. If I'm wrong, (Ken DOES just need the number), let me know before the 12 hour edit window closes, and I'll delete my post. This one too. Thanks.

EDIT: I didn't bash David at all. I pointed out that the way his NUMEROUS ads with the REDUNDANT contact info in every one of them is presented (not David's responsibility) has diminished my enjoyment and perception of a publication that I PAY FOR the printing and mailing of, to the point I toss it like the other unwanted mail I receive every day.

Dave, if that is the case, I apologize for jumping in to add my two cents. I like a good tongue in cheek as much as the next guy, but I was more reacting to Patrick's response. He must not have gotten it either. I guess we will only know if Ken responds in kind. Thanks.

And I was trying to clarify whether the spelling was actually correct (they're not that close) or not.
If it's supposed to be Sokolowski, then yes, by far the easiest way to find his contact info is to open any page of the Driveline.
If it's Soldkiski, I don't see anyone by that last name in the online member list - but that doesn't mean he's not a member.

He pays commercial advertising rates for his ads, which is more than the member submitted 50 word ads. He also has requested that his ads be dispersed throughout the publication AND the Publications Committee that I report to agrees with his request. Every ad is required to have contact information and membership number. And furthermore, only part of your dues goes to pay for the magazine printing, so it's not as if you're paying the entire bill for the printing, but I'm sure the organization would love for you to step up and pay the printing costs for the entire run of the Driveline 6 times a year. And this thread is now closed
