Is red the correct color for the 68 L 36 fast idle cam? The current judging guide shows a red cam on an L 36 motor but I don't see it described in the text. Mine is red on a pretty original 37,000 mile April car but I've been told a few times that it should be white or yellow. Should it be red or were different colors used ? Also is there a source for the black and white plastic choke pull off ? Everything I've seen available is all white or grey and white.

1968 Fast Idle Cam
I understand for 1968 a Rochester fast idle cam is RED for automatic and Blue/Green for standards. Would some one have a picture of the blue green cam ? Installed even better. Thanks in advance, L79 motor. JeffMark Edmondson
