67 big block and steering shock

Did 435 HP 67s have a steering shock? I'm helping a friend with some work on his car. It's a real L71, still has the tank sticker attached to the original tank.

It has a steering shock, but It isn't an original. It has an AC Delco sticker on it, so I'm sure its a service replacement.

Did the L71 come with the steering shock?

Don --- I just finished the carpet so it's getting very close. We also have made big progress on John Hinch's 65 396. The body has been finished and painted, and we put it on the running chassis a couple of weeks ago.
