In my research on the 1969 Side Mounted Exhaust System option, I noticed that the original version of the 1969 sales brochure listed it as "Off-Road Exhaust System" in the photo caption, whereas the -R1 version of the D-67141 brochure listed it as "Side-Mounted Exhaust System". Just curious why the change ... suspect it was for legal reasons associated with various state DMV allowances.
Also, curious why only offered for that 1969 year, as I see the 1970 AIM had it with a large CANCELED stamp across the page.
