    C1 water pump

My friend has a 1960 and she wants the original water pump rebuilt. Anyone know of a reputable place to get it done?

Ron Burke Chevycool (I believe he is a driveline advertiser): https://chevycool.com/. Does nice work, reasonably priced and usually has completed pumps he sells out right/ exchange or can surely rebuild yours. Good guy to deal with too.

Had a 61 water pump sent out by my local NAPA a while back; and it came back in very nice condition.

Most good sized cities have several rebuild shops that rebuild your own pump. Denver has a little shop that rebuilds water pumps and clutches for a very reasonable price. I would imagine you could find one in your area. There is not much required to rebuild a water pump. Best of wishes in your search. Paul

If the car is of any value you want to go to Ron and get it done.

                  Tony,

Bill Mock, who advertises in the Driveline, also rebuilds water pumps. He only uses quality made in the USA parts.
